A sheet metal laser cutter is a CNC cutting machine equipped with a fiber laser source that cuts flat steel plates quickly and with high repeatability. Unlike plasma cutting, it produces a narrow kerf, clean edges without excessive heating of the material, and minimal wear on consumables—the parts usually no longer require grinding or milling.
