Plasma-gas cutting machines for sheet metal
Modern solutions for automated steel plate cutting in industrial manufacturing.
Our plasma and oxy-fuel cutting machines are state-of-the-art CNC cutting machines that combine high productivity with technological flexibility. The plasma cutting machine for steel plates quickly cuts structural steel and stainless steel, while oxy-fuel (gas) cutting can handle even very thick steel components—it automates production, ensures part repeatability, and reduces operating costs.
This is part of our lineup of plasma and oxy-fuel cutting machines, alongside precision fiber laser cutting machines for steel plates. Choose proven technology that drives the growth of your facility.
Plasma-oxy-fuel sheet metal cutting machine — efficient cutting of steel, stainless steel, and thick workpieces
A plasma-gas plate cutting machine is a CNC cutting machine that combines two thermal cutting technologies: high-speed plasma cutting of thin and medium-gauge sheet metal and oxy-fuel (gas) cutting of very thick steel components. This allows you to cut both production parts and massive structural components with a single machine. It’s a versatile choice for companies that need versatility and high productivity in a single machine. If you’re unsure which technology to choose, compare them in our laser vs. plasma guide.
STIGAL’s product lineup includes three series of plasma and oxy-fuel cutting machines for steel plates— the versatile PROMaster 3D, the precision SteelCut 3D, and the dynamic, compact Dynamic X-PRO. Each cuts structural steel and stainless steel, and the advanced 3D bevel cutting heads allow for bevel cutting up to 55° and perform weld preparation for the parts. Gas cutting allows you to cut steel components up to 320 mm thick, while plasma cutting enables you to make quick and clean cuts in thinner sheets.
We build each machine to order—we tailor the cutting technology, cutting table size, and level of automation to the actual needs of your facility, ensuring a faster return on investment and reduced material waste.
Available models of plasma and oxy-fuel machines for cutting steel plates
PROMaster 3D
Multi-purpose plasma-gas cutting machine for cutting sheet metal in modern industry. It enables fast and precise cutting of sheet metal strips from 105 mm wide. Equipped with advanced safety systems and modern controls.
SteelCut 3D
A precision cutting machine for 2D and 3D cutting, combining high dynamics with accuracy. It can cut steel plates up to 150 mm thick (oxy-fuel cutting) and up to 50 mm thick (plasma cutting). The aluminum gantry structure ensures durability and resistance to deformation.
Dynamic X-PRO
A compact, high-speed plasma and oxy-fuel cutting machine for cutting steel plates up to 50 mm thick. Ideal for facilities with limited space where productivity and precision are key.
Key benefits of STIGAL plasma-gas cutting machines
Cutting of thick metal sheets
With oxygen you will cut even very thick steel parts – up to 320 mm. This is a solution for companies that carry out heavy construction and need versatility in one device.
Speed and quality of plasma cutting
Plasma technology enables very fast cutting of steel plates and profiles while maintaining high-quality edges, which shortens the time it takes to complete projects and minimizes the need for further processing.
3D cutting, beveling and preparation for welding
Advanced 3D heads allow cutting at angles, making chamfers and bevels, and preparing parts directly for welding – all in one pass.
Automation and minimal operator involvement
With robotic lines and intuitive controls, the operator is limited to process supervision. That’s more repeatability, fewer errors and lower labor costs.
Saving material and time
Intelligent nesting software and dynamic machine acceleration allow for optimal use of material and significantly reduce production time.
Safety and ergonomics at work
Advanced GuardLine-O systems, light curtains and ergonomic workstations ensure operator safety and compliance with stringent industry standards.
