The FIBER Tube system enables high-speed processing of hollow sections and tubes directly on a laser cutting machine. It replaces drilling, milling, and sawing with a single, fully automated operation that guarantees consistent repeatability. Maximum use of material

In traditional tube and profile cutting systems, even a small amount of leftover material after each cycle can result in significant losses over the course of the entire production run. In the FIBER Tube 3C, waste minimization is achieved through the use of a movable clamp that moves exceptionally close to the cutting head—thereby reducing the end of the feed, which is usually left unused, to an absolute minimum. Additionally, two self-centering clamps securely hold the material in place and allow for its precise positioning, which ensures process repeatability and optimal utilization of each batch of raw material.

Synchronizing the clamps’ operation eliminates play and misalignment, ensuring that each piece is cut exactly where it should be. However, it’s important to remember that minimal waste depends on the material’s geometry, the cutting path, and the machine’s configuration—you’ll achieve the best results when the appropriate technical conditions are met. This approach not only reduces material costs but also supports sustainable production and allows for better order planning.

Precision cutting with beveling option

Precision and flexibility in one device

High-quality and consistent cutting results are achieved not only through precise mechanics, but above all through the advanced technology of the cutting head. The FIBER Tube 3C features a BOCHU cutting head with an autofocus system. It automatically adjusts the focus to the thickness and type of material, thereby eliminating the need for manual adjustment and maintaining consistent cutting quality. In addition, integrated sensors monitor operating parameters in real time, minimizing the risk of malfunctions and downtime.

The optional beveling function allows simultaneous cutting and edge preparation for welding in the range of -45° to +45° (possible V, Y, K bevels), which significantly reduces machining time and eliminates the need for additional operations. The modular design of the head allows quick replacement of lenses, while mechanical collision protection and high-power resistance guarantee long life and low operating costs. It’s a solution that realistically increases production flexibility and makes it possible to realize even the most demanding projects.

Time-consuming and error-prone manual material loading is a common problem in traditional production lines. FIBER Tube 3C solves this problem with semi-automatic feeders equipped with advanced sensors that continuously adjust the position of tubes and profiles, eliminating the risk of collisions and speeding up cutting preparation.

Two self-centering chucks play a key role here—their synchronized rotation eliminates axial runout, and their stable clamping dampens vibrations, which is particularly important for long and thin-walled workpieces. The movable chuck allows it to get very close to the cutting head, minimizing material waste, and the universal jaws accommodate a wide range of structural sections, ensuring production flexibility. As a result, operators can focus on quality control and optimizing machine performance, and the entire line operates faster, safer, and more economically—which translates to lower costs and higher-quality finished products.
